Size 7 Steel Crochet Hook

Ch 40, sI st to form a ring

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in joining st; sc in next 3 chs, 2 sc in next ch; *sc in next 4 ch,
2 sc in next ch; rep from * around; sI st in 1st sc to join (48 sc).

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in joining st, ch 4; * sk 2 sc, sc in next sc, ch 4; 
rep from * around; sl st in 1st sc to join (16 ch-4 sps) 

Rnd 3: SI st in ch-4 sp, ch 1; sc in same sp, ch 4, * sc in next ch-4 sp,
ch 4; rep from * around; sI st in 1st sc to join (16 ch-4) 

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in joining st; * in next ch-4 sp work (
hdc, 3 dc, hdc to make shell) sc in next sc; rep from *around, sI st in 1st sc to join
16 ch-6 sps) 

Rnd 5: SI st to 2 dc of shell, ch 1, sc in same dc; ch 6; 
* sc in 2nd dc of next shell, ch 6; rep from * around; sl st in 1st sc to join (16 ch-6 sps)

Rnd 6: Ch 7 (counts as dc & ch 4), dc in joining st; *in next ch-6 sp work 
(dc,ch 4,dc); in next sc work (dc, ch 4, dc); rep from * around; 
sI st in 3rd ch of beg ch-7 to join.

Rnd 7: SI st to middle of ch-4 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, 
ch 4;*sc in next ch-4 sp, ch 4, rep trom * around; sl st in 1st sc to join.

Fasten off & weave in ends

Stiffen with glue and water mix.
Add ribbon and ribbon roses as shown above.
