Chocolate Nut Bread Ingredients: 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 cups sugar 5 eggs 2 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 1/2 cups cake flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup buttermilk 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional 1.In mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar. 2.Add eggs, chocolate and vanilla; mix well. 3.Combine the flour, baking soda and salt. 4.Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating well after each addition. 5.Stir in nuts. 6.Pour into four greased 5" x 3" x 2" loaf pans. 7.Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. 8.Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks.
