Orange Pineapple Punch

Ingredients:
2 quarts water
2 cans (20 ozs each) unsweetened crushed pineapple, undrained
3 cups sugar
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 can (12 oz) frozen orange juice, thawed
1 can (6 oz) frozen lemonade, thawed
1 package unsweetened orange koolaid
1 liter ginger ale, chilled
1 jar maraschino cherries, drained

1.In a 6 quart container, combine first 7 ingredients.
2.Place ppunch in a covered container (ice-cream containers work good) and freeze.
3.To serve, after punch is frozen, break into chunks.
4.Add ginger ale & cherries; stir until slushy.
